JV Girls Soccer Ties Dixie Heights

Junior Maddie Lock, who plays the position of Outside Back for the JV Team, makes a fast break down the line to make a pass. Lock, who has been a member for the team for the last 3 years, said that she enjoys being on a team where, “everyone wants to win.” The Lady Dragons would go on to tie Dixie Heights 2-2. Taylor Duquette
Freshman Taylor Duquette was attempting to move a play down the field so she could split through the defenders. Duquette, who is new to the team this year, loves that “the team is really welcoming and forgiving.” (Avery Peterson)
Eleanor Dunn
Sophomore Eleanor Dunn plays Center Mid for the JV Lady Dragons. Here Dunn is trying to get the ball through the mid guards and pass it to her teammates. When questioned about her favorite aspect of playing on this team, Dunn responded, “playing with all my friends, who I have played with for years… has been really nice and I can’t wait to play varsity with them as a team, and maybe win a state championship!” (Avery Peterson)
