Avery Peterson, Editor in Chief
Avery (or Aj) Peterson is a Senior at South Oldham High School and the Editor-in-Chief of the Dragon’s Tale. If they were a color they’d be a dark green because of their cautious love of nature and they attempt to be a grounding presence in their own life and the lives of the people they care about. If they’re not working or at school, you’ll find them hanging out with their friends or siblings, reading, painting, and listening to music. You will see them listening to Indigo De Souza, Florence and the Machine, Sammy Rae and the Friends, or Adrienne Lenker. They are definitely not obsessed with Spiderman Into Across the Spiderverse, or the Barbie Movie but could talk about them all day. Avery loves any books from sappy rom coms, to dystopian fiction, to murder mysteries. They love movies that are cinematically groundbreaking and beautiful. They bring a creative touch to the magazine and hopes to include different types of people in our community by highlighting them and their accomplishments. They are very excited for this year of the Dragon’s Tale.
