Last Friday SOHS Girls Basketball beat district rival North Oldham 56-52 in overtime. At halftime, Freshman Madison Young led all players with 14 points. At the end of the third, the Dragons were up a seven-point lead in the opening minute of the second half. Toward the end of the fourth quarter, it came down to a last-second shot for the Dragons to win, but they ended up missing it.  With South’s win, The Dragons clinched the one seed in the 29th District Tournament. Young led the Lady Dragons with 26 points followed by Junior Ella Morrison with 16 points.
